This is our 2017 Entegra Anthem. We traded in our Fleetwood and couldn’t be happier.
I’ve attempted to write my first Substack newsletter many times now. I have to be honest; between our travel schedule and my double-mindedness, I’m struggling. I started my newsletter because of a challenge posted in Medium in the Coffee Times publication. The prize money offered was not my motivation. I needed the inspiration to write.
I decided to concentrate my newsletter on the RV lifestyle. So many people are currently taking to it or thinking about it. We didn’t make the jump to full-time travel until July of 2021. Before that, we’d made three cross-country trips in our 40-foot Fleetwood, Discovery motorhome, so we have plenty of RVing experience.
With excellent responses, I’ve shared tales of woe and miracles on my Facebook page, RV Living with Tom, Cat, and Paddy, for over four years. After our first trip, the one I started with a broken ankle, people told me how much they missed hearing about our travel adventures. People enjoyed seeing my photos, laughing at our mishaps and virtually going along for the ride.
A Substack newsletter will be the perfect addition to my Facebook posts. By subscribing to it, you will know where we’ve been, what we’ve seen, and the adventures we’ve experienced. If you are considering RV travel, full-time or a weekender, or just want to ride along through my posts, you are welcome here.
I will share links to RV campgrounds, restaurants, and attractions. My RV Living with Jesus at the Wheel newsletter reflects that we are prayerfully moving about the country. We are flying by the seat of our pants with God in charge. We pray over our itinerary and schedule and know things won’t always go as planned. Sometimes Jesus takes the wheel, and we head off in another direction. We know that wherever we land is where we are supposed to be.
Thanks for going along with us. I plan to send out my monthly newsletter and recap our travels. If you know someone who could benefit from my newsletter, share my subscription link with them. I’d REALLY appreciate input about what you’d like to hear more or less of. I hope to build this newsletter into an enjoyable experience for many people.
