This Sick, Evil & Vile Attack on Walters Zoom Has Me Reeling!

I can only imagine how upset Walter Rhein is right now!

An evil hacker attacked Walter Rhein, one of the most sincere and helpful writers I’ve met on Medium today, in a way that was so vicious I am still shaken. I had to set aside the post I was currently working on and address the situation immediately. I want to assure him that someone in his Zoom room is praying for him.

I’ve been attending Zoom meetings for years and have not seen anything like what happened. Some sick, perverted individual busted into Walter Rhein’s Zoom with full video and audio capabilities on three screens and completely took over the meeting with some of the most vile videos my eyes have ever seen.

We could tell that Walter was trying to kill the video, having it down long enough to apologize to us before it reappeared. He finally had to kill the feed entirely. I was in our bedroom to participate in the meeting with the door closed, and when my husband heard me yelling, he came in to ask what the heck was going on. I closed Zoom on my laptop and told him that I’d just witnessed the most disgusting attack on the internet that I could ever imagine.

I haven’t gone to look at my email yet, but I’m sure Walter immediately reached out to all attendees. I feel horrible for him. I pray that he gets help from the folks at Zoom to figure out how such an unspeakable thing could happen. My husband and I attend many Bible study groups on Zoom. I can only imagine how awful it would be to experience what we saw today on one of those.

Walter, I want you to know how terrible I feel for you, as I’m sure the rest of the group does. I know you are mortified. Please don’t let this horrible thing discourage you. It was clearly a Satanic attack. I’m claiming in Jesus’ name that nothing like this will ever happen to any of us again. I call on the Angels of Heaven’s army to protect us all and give us peace to move on from what we saw.

We love you, Walter. May God’s peace that surpasses understanding be wrapped around you.
